Release Notes
Continue Word and Outlook Threads in the Web App
You can now continue working on your Harvey for Word and Harvey for Outlook threads in the Harvey web app.
What's New
Using the Harvey web app’s History page, you can now continue working on threads you started in the Harvey for Word and Harvey for Outlook add-ins. Follow-ups you add in the web app stay with the thread and appear when you reopen it in Word or Outlook.
Why It Matters
Before this release, Word and Outlook threads were read-only in the web app, so continuing a conversation meant going back to the add-in. Now you can take a thread into the web app whenever you want more room to work. For example, if you ask Harvey for Outlook to review an email attachment and Harvey generates documents, you can open the thread from your web app History to review those documents in a larger workspace and continue your analysis there.
How to Use
- Start a thread in the Harvey for Word or Harvey for Outlook add-in.
- In the Harvey web app, select
View history from the sidebar.
- Find the thread select the thread you started from the add-in.
- Enter a follow-up query and submit it.
Tip: To see only threads you’ve started from your add-ins, select the filter icon and select Outlook or Word add-in.
FAQs
Q: Will follow-up queries I submit in the web app appear when I return to Word or Outlook?
Yes. Follow-ups submitted in the web app are saved to the thread and appear when you reopen it in Harvey for Word or Harvey for Outlook.
Q: Will continuing a thread in the web app change my Word document or my email?
