What’s New

You can now attach up to five knowledge sources to a single query, up from the previous limit of two. This applies to new threads created in the Harvey web app as well as the Harvey Word add-in.

  • Combine multiple knowledge sources with web search in the same query
  • Set granular filters for each source to keep results scoped to the right context
Multiple Sources

As part of this change, citations are now grouped by knowledge source for easier navigation and verification.

The Context panel in Harvey, with multiple knowledge sources highlighted in the Sources panel.

Why It Matters

Legal research often spans more than two authorities. Before this update, comparing several jurisdictions meant running separate queries and piecing the answers together by hand. Now one query can cover the full scope of the question, whether that's several jurisdictions, a cross-border comparison, or a mix of sources like a regulator, a statute database, and web search.

How To Use

  1. Start a new thread and draft your query.
  2. Select Sources and add up to five knowledge sources.
  3. Submit your query.
  4. Review the response, organized by source, with citations back to each one
