Release Notes
Fable 5 Model Access
Fable 5 is now available as a model provider in Harvey, giving workspaces that request it access through the model selector.
What’s New
Fable 5 is now available in Harvey. Built by Anthropic, Fable 5 is designed to support complex knowledge work and coding tasks, providing users with another advanced model option for research, analysis, drafting, and technical workflows.
Select Fable 5 when working on tasks that benefit from Anthropic’s latest model capabilities. Learn more about our initial evaluation of this model in our blog post for Fable 5.
Important:
- Fable 5 usage is billed separately from your Harvey subscription and requires a signed contract addendum. Contact your Customer Success Manager or account team to enable Fable 5 for your workspace.
- Fable 5 cannot be used with Zero Data Retention (ZDR). Anthropic requires extended retention to run safety classifiers. Enabling Fable 5 does not change ZDR behavior for any other model.
Why It Matters
Fable 5 gives teams a more capable model option for complex, multi-step legal work, with particular strength in drafting and reviewing markup like redlines. In Harvey's internal evaluation, it scored higher than any other Anthropic model to date. Because Harvey remains multi-model by design, you can route a task to Fable 5, or to any other model, based on what best fits the work at hand.
How To Use
You can find detailed information on how to request, enable, and use Fable 5 in your workspace in our article: Use Fable 5 in Harvey.
