Opus 5 Now Available In Harvey

What's New

We’ve added Opus 5 to the model selector in Harvey. Opus 5 builds on Opus 4.8 with gains in legal accuracy across litigation and transactional work.

Why It Matters

Opus 5 delivers improvements across two areas:

• Transactional and disclosure-heavy work: Excels at transactional and disclosure-heavy work, showing particular strength in corporate governance, M&A, energy, and real estate.
• Litigation work: Compared to Opus 4.8, Opus 5 also excels at document-heavy analysis in areas like arbitration and disputes.

For most workflows, Auto mode continues to select the right model for you, but model selection is available if you want more direct control.

This update ensures Harvey adapts to different types of legal work without changing how you normally use it.

How to Use

Open Model Selector in Assistant, Vault, or Workflow Builder to select Opus 5 from the list of models. Admins can manage access through Access Control & Permission Management.
