What’s New

Playbook review is now available directly in Harvey's web app. You can upload a contract, select a playbook, and receive a color-coded review with an editable redline and rule-by-rule rationale. Uploaded .pdf files are converted automatically into an editable .docx.

Why It Matters

This unlocks playbook reviews for guest users and Shared Spaces that don’t have Word Add-In access, while keeping the full review-to-redline workflow in a single browser tab.

How To Use

You can run a playbook review in Harvey’s web app in two ways:

In a new thread

  1. Create a new thread in Harvey.
  2. Attach your contract to the thread.
  3. In your prompt, ask Harvey to run a specific playbook and submit your query.

In Library

  1. Go to Library and select Playbooks.
  2. Select the playbook you’d like to run.
  3. At the top-right, select Run.
  4. Attach your contract and submit your query.

FAQs

Q: Can I run a playbook review from the web if I normally use Word?

A: Yes. Playbook Review in the web app uses the same playbooks as Word. You can see your review results and track your progress accepting suggestions in either Harvey for web or the Harvey Word add-in. Everything stays up to date automatically when you switch between them.

Q: Does this replace the Word Add-In review experience?

A: No. The Word add-in review experience continues to work as before. Web review is an additional way to run playbook reviews, useful for Shared Spaces, guest accounts, and anyone who prefers working in a browser rather than Word.

Q: Can I edit the redlined document in Word after running a review in Web?

A: Yes. You can download the redlined .docx file from the Harvey web app and open it in Word.

Q: Is this available to guest users in Shared Spaces?

A: Yes. Enabling playbook review for Shared Space users (without Word add-in access) is one of the main use cases for this feature.

Q: Are there any limitations to running in Web?

A: Viewing and inserting comments from your playbook is not supported in Web. Use the Word add-in if you need to view or insert playbook comments.
