Release Notes
Vault Page and Thread Sharing Refresh
A single “New” button now starts threads and review tables from a Vault, and new threads stay private in your History until you add them to the Vault.
Important: This feature is rolling out in phases from October 14 through October 28, 2026. If you have questions about when this update will land in your workspace, contact your Customer Success Manager.
What’s New
This update refreshes the layout of Vault pages in Harvey and changes the default sharing behavior for threads created in a Vault.
- The in-Vault "Ask Harvey" composer has been replaced with a single
New button, which will allow you to start new threads, create review tables, draft documents, and run workflows from your Vault files.
- New threads that use a Vault as a knowledge source are now saved to your personal History. They remain private to you until you add them to the Vault.
Why It Matters
This update makes it easier to start focused research using selected matter files, or the entire Vault, from one New button. Since exploratory threads now remain private by default, you can also develop legal analysis without prematurely exposing unfinished work to other members of the Vault.

FAQs
Q: Will I still be able to see past queries saved to a Vault?
Yes. Existing queries don't change. This update applies only to new queries.
Q: Where do I find my queries now?
In the View history tab in Harvey’s main navigation menu. If you've added a query to a Vault, you can also open it from that Vault.
