Agent Builder Enhancements
Agent Builder is getting a more streamlined editing experience, making it easier to manage agent details, add files and sources, and keep descriptions up to date automatically as instructions change.
What's Coming
We're reorganizing the Agent Builder to make it easier to select files, add sources, and edit agent details. We're also adding an option to update the agent description automatically as you save edits to the instructions.
Feature Highlights
- Edit agent details on the page: View and edit the title, description, and other properties directly in the Agent Builder without navigating to a separate view. Practice area, document classification tags, and notes only show when they're in use. To add one, use "Add property."
- Add files and sources more easily: Upload files, reference vaults, pick knowledge sources, and more from the simplified Files and Sources menus — the same ones you use in threads.
- Use review tables in agents: Add a review table from the Files menu, and your agent can use it as context alongside files and vaults.
- Keep descriptions in sync: Turn on automatic updates to generate an up-to-date description when edits to instructions are saved. Titles will also be generated automatically for agents titled "Untitled agent" on the next save.

Q: How do automatic description updates work?
When automatic updates are turned on, Harvey updates the description from your instructions each time you save. The setting is on by default for new agents and existing agents with no description.
Q: How do I add playbooks, templates, etc.?
The Files menu includes vaults, review tables, playbooks, templates, and DMS. The Sources menu includes knowledge sources and connectors.
