What’s Coming

Accessing DMS files in Harvey today typically requires users to download documents locally and then manually drag and drop them into the Assistant or Vault. The Box integration lets users upload supported files directly from Box into Assistant, Workflows, and Vault, without leaving Harvey or handling local downloads.

Feature Highlights

To start using the Box integration:

  1. Ask a Harvey admin to enable the Box integration for your workspace.
  2. In Harvey, open Assistant, Workflows, or Vault, then click Upload from Box.
  3. When prompted, sign in to Box and approve Harvey’s OAuth access for your Box account (Harvey will only see files you can access; it does not gain blanket access to all Box content).
  4. Use the embedded Box file picker to select the documents you want to use in Harvey.
  5. Click Upload. Harvey ingests the files and treats them like any other upload, subject to your workspace’s supported file types and policies.
  6. If you need to use Box Notes (.boxnote), convert them to a supported format (such as .docx or .pdf) before uploading, since .boxnote is not currently supported.
