Overview

Cell-level refreshes allow you to re-run an existing prompt against a single cell without modifying the other cells in the column. This feature gives you more precise control within review tables so that you can adjust individual cells while keeping the rest of your table intact.

Feature Highlights

  • Cell-level refresh: Regenerate a response for a single cell by re-running the column's existing prompt against that cell's source document. The rest of the column will not affected.

  1. Select the cell you want to re-run within your review table.
  2. In the popover that appears, select Re-run. A progress indicator will appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen while the cell regenerates.
  3. Once complete, the cell will display your new response.

Current Capabilities

Cell-level refresh has the following scope at this time:

  • One cell at a time: You cannot currently refresh multiple selected cells at once; each cell must be re-run individually. To re-run all cells in a column, use the existing column-level re-run option.
  • No outdated indicator on dependent cells: If you re-run a cell, it’s important to note that the conditional columns (columns that depend on that cell) will not update or show an outdated indicator. However, you can re-run dependent cells individually or edit their content manually.

Tips for Success

  • Use cell-level refresh when one result stands out. If a single cell returned an incomplete or off-target response and the rest of your column looks correct, re-running that individual cell is faster than regenerating the entire column.
  • Check conditional columns after refreshing a source cell. Since dependent cells won’t display an outdated indicator if their source cell is re-run, be sure to review any columns that reference the refreshed cell and update them as needed.

FAQs

Will re-running a cell affect other cells in the same column?
No. Only the selected cell is regenerated. All other cells in the column remain unchanged.

Do I need special permissions to use cell-level refresh?
No. The feature is available to all users with access to review tables.
