Upcoming Feature
Cell Lock in Review Tables
A new lock control on review table cells that freezes an answer's value so it can't be edited, re-run, or overwritten by other users.
What’s Coming
Cell lock lets edit-access users freeze the value in an individual review table cell — or many at once — so it's protected from further edits, re-runs, verification changes, or flags by anyone else.

Feature Highlights
- Locking is a toggle, and any edit-access user can lock or unlock a cell; locked cells still show existing badges (verified, flagged, comments) plus a lock indicator.
- Once locked, the cell's value holds even if the column is re-run or its prompt changes, closing a gap where teams doing large-scale reviews — like due diligence — would lose finalized work whenever a column got re-run.
FAQs
Q: Can view-only users lock or unlock a cell?
No. Only users with edit or full access can lock or unlock a cell. View-only users can see the locked state and the frozen value, but can't toggle it.
Q: What happens to a locked cell when the column is re-run?
It is skipped during the re-run, and its value stays as is, with no "out of date" indicator shown.
Q: Can I still comment on a locked cell?
Yes. Locking only disables edit, flag, verify, and refresh actions — comments still work.
Q: Who can unlock a cell once it's locked?
Any edit-access user, not just the person who locked it.
Q: Does locking a cell change how it looks when exported?
No. A locked cell's value exports the same as any other cell, with no indication that it was locked.
