Overview

Harvey's Command Center is a new analytics and intelligence workspace where admins can glean key metrics such as adoption and peer benchmarking and ask questions about usage data. This makes it easy to generate charts, practice group breakdowns, and exports for leadership presentations.

Key Features

  • Overview page: An admin homepage showing key analytics charts, such as product usage by service area, and total active users.
  • Command Center agent: A conversational analytics agent that answers questions about your workspace usage, generates charts, and produces exports (PowerPoint presentations, Excel files, or PDFs) based on your workspace's usage data.
  • Peer benchmarking: Your organization’s metrics shown alongside anonymized benchmarks for your peer group. Areas where your firm falls significantly below peers are highlighted so you can target enablement actions.
  • Recommended actions: A list of configurations and recently released features your workspace has not yet enabled, with completion status and links to take action.

How to Use

FAQs

Q: Which users in our organization can access Command Center Overview page?

The Command Center Overview page is accessible only to workspace administrators. Standard attorneys and end users do not have access to analytics data or the Ask Harvey agent.

Q: How does peer benchmarking work?

Peer benchmarking computes aggregated, anonymized metrics across firms in your peer group — determined by factors including organization size, geography, and practice focus. Your organization's usage data contributes to these calculations.

Q: Can I see usage broken down by practice group or team? How do you determine practice area?

We are working on improvements to our SCIM feature to pull org structure directly from your identity provider — that's the cleanest path. If not, we'll work with you to figure out the right approach for your setup.

Q: What data does the agent have access to?

Command Center is powered by a pre-built analytics dataset containing workspace usage data: when usage events occurred, which Harvey products were used, which practice groups and users were active, and workspace configuration settings. During EA, the dataset does not include document content, query or response text, or any legal work product. At GA, admins with the appropriate permissions will be able to access user queries via the assistant.

Q: Will the new settings/analytics layout affect my existing API integrations or BI dashboards?

A: No. This release doesn't change the analytics API, so existing usage-data pipelines into your own BI tools continue to work as-is.
