Custom Writing Styles
Custom Writing Styles will allow you to create reusable style guides that tailor Harvey’s responses to your jurisdiction, firm standards, and personal preferences—delivering consistent, standards-aligned outputs without repetitive prompt instructions.
What’s Coming
Harvey will soon introduce Custom Writing Styles, enabling you to tailor Harvey’s responses to match your unique writing preferences, firm guidelines, and local legal conventions.
Lawyers across jurisdictions require outputs that reflect specific terminology, drafting standards, and tone. Today, users must repeatedly include these preferences in their prompts. Custom Writing Styles will eliminate that friction by allowing you to create reusable style guides that can be applied to any query.
You will be able to define tone, formatting, terminology, and drafting conventions once—and apply them instantly whenever you work in Assistant. Whether aligning with jurisdiction-specific standards, adopting a persuasive litigation tone, or adhering to firm brand guidelines, Harvey will generate responses that reflect your selected style automatically.
This update will transform Harvey from a general-purpose assistant into a tool that adapts to your professional context—saving time, reducing repetitive instructions, and delivering consistent, standards-aligned outputs.
