DeepJudge is an institutional intelligence platform that turns your firm's historical work product, negotiated positions and deal terms from completed matters, into searchable, structured knowledge. The DeepJudge integration in Harvey connects that knowledge layer directly into your Harvey workflows.

Query DeepJudge from a Harvey thread the same way you'd query any other connected knowledge source. Harvey refines your question, sends it to DeepJudge, and returns firm-specific precedent inline alongside Harvey's AI-generated analysis, including citations. When you need to go deeper, Harvey provides an option to hand off to DeepJudge's SuperSearch interface, where you can review a broader set of results and curate what you send back to Harvey to continue your work.

Enable the DeepJudge Integration (Admins)

Important: To enable the DeepJudge integration in Harvey, your firm's DeepJudge administrator must create an OAuth client for the Harvey connection.

  1. Go to Command Center → Connectors.
  2. Find DeepJudge in the list of connectors and select Connect.
  3. Enter your DeepJudge information including the Host, Tenant slug, and Client ID from the OAuth client created in DeepJudge.

After an admin sets up the DeepJudge integration, it will be available at the workspace level. Each user will need to connect their own DeepJudge account before they can use the integration in Harvey. Admins can choose to turn the connector on for specific users or roles by selecting Users & Permissions to control rollout.

Connect Your DeepJudge Account

  1. Go to Personal Settings → Connectors.
  2. Select DeepJudge from the connector list, then select Sign in.
  3. Follow the prompts to authorize your DeepJudge account with Harvey.

Use DeepJudge in a Harvey Thread

Add DeepJudge as a Source

A new Harvey thread with DeepJudge enabled as a knowledge source.
  1. Start a new thread in Harvey, then select the Sources Sources button.
  2. Enable DeepJudge from the sources list.
  3. Ask your question in natural language, for example, requesting that Harvey draft a document using DeepJudge precedent, or asking it to review a term against your firm's historical positions.
  4. Review Harvey's response. Firm-specific precedent, deal terms, and negotiated positions appear inline, with citations, alongside Harvey's analysis.

Hand Off to DeepJudge SuperSearch

A response in a Harvey thread with a "Search in DeepJudge" button available.
  1. To explore further, select Search in DeepJudge to open DeepJudge's SuperSearch interface with your Harvey context carried over.
  2. In SuperSearch, review the broader set of results, then select the results you want and send them back to Harvey to continue your work.

Tip: You can also point Harvey to a specific DeepJudge Collection by name. Harvey will search and draft using only the contents of that collection, citing each source.

FAQs

Can DeepJudge Collections sync to Vault?

Not at this time. Collections are searchable within Harvey, but Vault sync isn't available yet. That is coming soon!

Do I need a separate DeepJudge subscription?

Yes. Harvey and DeepJudge are purchased independently. The integration itself carries no additional cost.
