What’s Coming

Harvey will introduce Intapp Ethical Walls for AI to help firms enforce information barriers directly within the platform. Ethical walls prevent users from sharing content related to matters they are restricted from, supporting compliance with conflict-of-interest obligations.

Harvey will integrate with a firm’s existing ethical wall provider and enforce those policies across the platform. Harvey will not create or manage walls. Instead, it will mirror the firm’s source system and apply those restrictions automatically during sharing. Day-to-day work in Harvey will remain unchanged. Walls will only be applied when users attempt to share content.

When a user shares a resource, Harvey will check the associated client matter and ensure the recipient has appropriate access. If a restriction exists, the share will be blocked and no content will be exposed. Ethical walls will apply consistently across Harvey products, ensuring a unified and reliable enforcement model.

Note: The EA currently only covers Assistant and Vault. Full enforcement will be rolled out throughout the Early Access process.
