What’s Coming

Harvey for Word will expand citation coverage to provide greater transparency across Ask and Edit workflows. In addition to existing citations for uploaded documents in Ask mode, we will introduce two new citation types: In-Document Citations and Edit Citations.

In-Document Citations will link responses directly to the active Word document, allowing users to trace answers back to specific paragraphs or references within the document they are working on. This will make it easier to validate outputs without manually searching for supporting language.

Edit Citations will provide source attribution within edit cards, linking changes back to uploaded documents or precedent. Users will be able to see exactly which source material informed a suggested revision.

Together, these enhancements will make it faster to verify answers, review edits, and maintain confidence in document accuracy—without interrupting drafting workflows.

Feature Highlights

  • In-Document Citations will link answers directly to relevant sections of the open Word document
  • Edit Citations will attribute suggested changes to uploaded documents or precedent within edit cards
  • Expanded citation coverage will improve transparency across both Ask and Edit workflows
