Overview

Your calendar is the other half of your inbox. It's the record of who you met with, when, and about what, and it's where deadlines live. With this update, Harvey can read your Outlook calendar too, so it can answer questions about your schedule, find time that works for you and your colleagues, and connect the meetings on your calendar to the emails and documents around them.

Harvey will also be able to generate calendar files (ICS files). Give Harvey a scheduling order, a procedural timetable, or an email with meeting details, and it will produce calendar files you can drop straight into Outlook.

Harvey reads your calendar and prepares files for you to add; it never creates, changes, or sends calendar invitations on your behalf.

Feature Highlights

  • Search your calendar from Harvey. Ask about past or upcoming meetings by person, topic, or date range, and Harvey will find the relevant events and cite them so you can open them in Outlook. For example, "When's the last time I met with Alice at Acme?" or "What's on my calendar next week?"
  • Connect your calendar and your inbox. Because Harvey can search both, it can answer questions that span them. For example, "Find the follow-up emails from today's meetings" or "Review my past week and tally up each time I emailed or met with a client.”
  • Find time and draft the reply. Harvey can check availability for you and your colleagues and suggest meeting times, then draft the email. For example, "Draft a reply to this meeting request suggesting three 30-minute slots next week when both my teammate and I are free."
  • Turn deadlines into calendar events. Harvey can generate calendar files (ICS files) from a prompt, document, or email: a scheduling order, a procedural timetable, a deal timeline, or a message with meeting details. Download and open them in Outlook to add the events to your calendar.
  • Calendar-aware agents. Any agent with the Outlook connector attached can now read your calendar, including scheduled agents. Build a morning briefing that covers today's meetings and priority emails, or a Friday agent that summarizes your week by client.
  • Turn deadlines into calendar events. Harvey can generate calendar files (ICS files) from a prompt, document, or email: a scheduling order, a procedural timetable, a deal timeline, or a message with meeting details. Download and open them in Outlook to add the events to your calendar. (Available to all Harvey users, not just users with the Outlook connector enabled).

FAQs

Q: Who can access this?
All users who were granted access to the Outlook connector by an admin.

Q: Will Harvey add events to my calendar or send meeting invitations?

No. Harvey can read your calendar and generate calendar files for you to open and add yourself. It never creates, changes, or cancels events, and never sends invitations on your behalf.

Q: What integrations or permissions do I need to use this?

Calendar search and availability require the Outlook connector with updated calendar permissions, which your admin will need to approve. Generating calendar files from a document or email doesn't require the connector at all.

Q: What can Harvey see on my calendar?

Your own primary calendar: event titles, times, attendees, locations, and descriptions. When checking availability for colleagues, Harvey sees free/busy information, subject to your organization's Exchange sharing settings.
