Upcoming Feature
Playbooks Revamp
Playbooks Review is getting a major upgrade: concept-driven analysis, lighter redlining, instant playbook creation from templates, and significantly improved playbook upload and NDA-based extraction.
What’s Coming
We’re enhancing Playbooks Review to deliver more precise issue spotting, clearer reasoning, and more commercially aligned redlines — while making it significantly faster and easier to create and upload playbooks.
Today, users rely on Playbooks to identify deviations and suggest fallback language. With this revamp, Harvey will move beyond language matching and focus on the underlying concepts that matter in negotiation. Reviews will be more context-aware, more consistent across clauses, and more aligned with your specific negotiation posture.
We’re also streamlining how playbooks are created and ingested. You will be able to generate a playbook in seconds using Harvey-built templates for NDAs, MDAs, and commercial contracts (with more templates coming soon). For teams with existing playbooks, uploads will be significantly improved: Harvey will extract rules into a structured table format and stay true to the original language of your positions.
In addition, Harvey will support NDA-focused playbook creation directly from your standard NDA template, extracting your typical positions and fallback language from your form agreement.
The result: faster playbook setup, cleaner drafts, stronger reasoning, and reviews that reflect how legal teams actually negotiate.
