Upcoming Feature

Query a Space from a New Thread

Users will be able to ask Harvey about a Space's contents from any new thread, without opening the Space first. Choosing a linked client matter or individual Space in the "Work in..." selector adds that Space's context and contents to the query.

What's Coming

In a new thread, you can now select Suitcase Work in... from the prompt composer and choose the Space you want to query. Harvey includes that Space’s context and contents in your query, and saves the query to the Space’s History so you can find it later.

If your organization has client matters enabled, Suitcase Work in... allows you to attach both Spaces and client matters to the thread. When a client matter is linked to a Space, Harvey brings that Space’s contents into your query automatically. You can also link a Space and a client matter directly from the composer, or request access if a client matter is linked to a private Space you can’t yet see.

Feature Highlights

For all users:

  • Use the Suitcase Work in... selector in the prompt composer to query a Space.
  • Space context and contents are included in the query automatically.
  • Queries are saved to Space History.

For organizations with client matters enabled:

  • Users can also select a client matter from Suitcase Work in... If the matter is linked to a Space, Harvey includes the Space as context automatically. If the matter is linked to a private Space, the user can request access from directly within the prompt composer.
  • If the attached client matter isn’t linked to a Space, use the Add Space selector to attach a Space to the query.
  • If the user selects a Space from the Suitcase Work in..., they can also optionally attach a client matter to the query using the Add Matter selector.

FAQs

Q: Does this change how client matters without a linked Space work?

No. Client matters that have not been associated with a Space will not change their behavior. Users may select them in the exact same manner.

Q: What happens if I choose a client matter linked with a Space?

If the client matter has a linked Space, Harvey automatically includes that Space's contents in your query. If it doesn't, an Add Space selector appears beside the Work in... selector, so you can attach one if you want.

Q: What if the client matter is linked to a private Space?

The Space appears with a lock icon and a Request access button, so you can ask the Space's owner for access. Going forward, queries on that client matter are also associated with that Space.
