The Review Definitions Workflow in Word will help users identify and resolve inconsistencies in defined terms across contracts. It will automatically extract key terms used throughout the document and compare them against the formal Definitions section to surface issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
How it works
- Find missing definitions: Detect key terms used in the contract that are not defined in the Definitions section.
- Find extraneous/duplicate definitions: Flag defined terms that do not appear elsewhere in the document or that are defined multiple times with different meanings.
- Find outdated definitions: Identify definitions that may be inconsistent with the current version of the document or cross-references.
