What's Coming

Review tables will soon detect when documents are added to their connected Vault folder and show a clear signal when the table is out of date. From there, you'll be able to refresh the affected rows, columns, or the entire table in one click — no more manually noticing new files and rebuilding from scratch.

Feature Highlights

Stay current automatically-flagged, manually-refreshed

  • See when documents change — Review tables detect when new files land in their source Vault folder and flag the table as out of date, with a signal showing how many documents changed and when it was last refreshed.
  • Refresh at any level — Update the whole table, a single row, or a single column, depending on what's changed.
  • Choose bulk or one-by-one — Pull in new files or refresh stale ones all at once, or handle them individually.
  • You're always in control — Nothing updates automatically. Refresh only happens when you trigger it, so your analysis never shifts without your knowledge.

FAQs

Q: How will I know if a review table is out of date?
A: The table shows a banner noting it's out of date, how many documents changed, and when it was last refreshed. The same signal appears at the row and column level for the specific files that are stale.

Q: Does the table refresh automatically, or do I have to trigger it?
A: You trigger it. Review tables never update automatically — you decide when to refresh.

Q: Can I refresh just a few files instead of the whole table?
A: Yes. You can refresh stale files or pull in newly added ones, one-by-one or in bulk.

Q: What happens if a file I'm already tracking gets edited, not just added?
A: This release only covers newly added files. Refreshing when an existing file is edited is planned for a later milestone, after file versioning ships.

Q: Can I sync a review table from more than one vault or folder?
A: Not yet — sync currently supports a single source (one vault or folder). Multi-source syncing is being considered for a future release.
