What’s New

Harvey now lets you record conversations directly in the Harvey mobile app and turns them into transcripts stored in Vault. With mobile audio transcriptions, you can:

  • Record conversations of up to two hours in the Harvey mobile app
  • Keep recording while your device is locked or you're using other apps
  • Get an automatically generated transcript that separates speakers using generic labels (Speaker 1, Speaker 2)
  • Save each transcript to your preferred Vault, then query, summarize, cite, and analyze it alongside the rest of your matter materials
  • Obtain consent from participants with a "Recording in progress" audio indicator at the start of each recording (admin-enabled)

Why It Matters

You can now capture and review long conversations such as depositions, client meetings, internal team meetings, and witness interviews right from your mobile device.

Instead of relying on third-party transcription services or standalone tools that are disconnected from your Harvey workflows, the mobile audio transcription feature lets you generate a transcript as soon as the conversation ends and save it directly in Harvey.

How to Use

Refer to Record and Transcribe Audio in Harvey for tips and instructions on using the mobile audio transcription feature.
