What’s New

In the Harvey for Outlook add-in, you can now send multiple emails to a Vault. Select up to 100 emails at once to send to a Harvey Vault that you have access to.

Additionally, you can now ask Harvey to organize emails into folders, enabling Harvey to help you keep your emails organized.

Why It Matters

For many lawyers, your inbox is the source of truth for most matters. Now you can send more context to a Vault in fewer clicks, making it available in Harvey faster.

Folder organization extends Harvey from reading your inbox to acting on it. Instead of sorting messages by hand, you can describe what you want moved, by sender, subject, or date, and Harvey files it.

Requirements

  • Sending multiple emails to Vault is available in Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Web. It is not available in Outlook for Mac.
  • Asking Harvey to organize emails requires full inbox access.

FAQs

Q: Can I send multiple emails to Vault from an Outlook for Mac device?

No, not at this time. This is due to an Outlook limitation.

Q: Why can’t I send certain emails to a Vault?

  • You cannot save a draft to Vault, only sent or received emails.
  • All emails must be in the same folder.
  • The Harvey for Outlook add-in cannot access emails in the Online Archive. Microsoft does not allow add-ins to access emails in these archives.

Q: What can I ask Harvey to do with my folders?

Harvey can find emails by sender, subject, date, etc. and move them to an existing folder. It can also create new folders. Harvey cannot delete folders and cannot delete emails.

Q: How will I know what Harvey moved? Can I undo a move?

After a move, Harvey will report back the total number of emails moved and the destination folder(s). If you’d like to undo a move, you can re-prompt Harvey to move emails back.

Q: How many emails can I move at a time?

Harvey can handle everyday organizing of emails, up to a few hundred emails in a single request. Very large cleanups over thousands of emails aren’t supported in one request today. To move thousands of emails, we recommend asking Harvey to work through the mailbox in batches, by folder, by sender, or by date range.
