Overview
Connect your Datasite account to Harvey to work with virtual data room (VDR) content for M&A, restructuring, and capital raising transactions. Once connected, Harvey can list the Datasite projects you have access to, navigate folders, pull the project index, read document metadata, and run semantic search across a data room using Datasite's Blueflame AI.
Point Harvey at the documents you need for due diligence, red flag review, summaries, and drafting. Your work stays tied to the current version of the data room, so you don't need to download files from Datasite and upload them into Harvey before you start.
Enable the Datasite Integration (Admins)
Important: An admin must enable Datasite from the Connector Library and grant access before workspace members can sign in and use it.
- Go to
Command Center → Configurations → Connectors.
- Find Datasite in the list and select Add. You'll see Datasite's available integrations and documentation links, such as the terms of service and privacy policy.
- Select Add to begin the setup flow.
- Next to the MCP option, select Connect, then Authorize.
- Follow the authentication and configuration steps for Datasite.
Datasite is now available in your workspace. Each member signs in with their own Datasite account before using it in Harvey.
Note: Datasite is an MCP integration. To manage tool access, set each Datasite tool to Always allow, Ask user, or Block. Review what each tool does before setting it to Always allow.
For more on enabling and managing connectors, see Connector Library.
