Overview
The Command Center Overview page is the landing page of Command Center, where workspace administrators can view insights into how their organization uses Harvey. The following features are included:
- Analytics charts
- Peer benchmarking
- Recommended actions
- The Ask Harvey assistant
This article describes each chart, how peer benchmarking works, how to use Recommended actions, and how to work with the Ask Harvey assistant.
Note: Refer to our Trust Center for more details on how Command Center fits into Harvey’s existing security and governance model.
Before You Begin
The Command Center Overview page and its content are visible to workspace admins only. However, workspace admins can adjust the roles associated with the Use commend center overview permission in order to expand access.
Before expanding access, please consider which users in your organization are authorized to access the usage metrics and user query history available in Command Center.
Note: Your workspace’s existing permissions will continue to control what each admin can see and do. For example, admins without Analytics access will not see analytics charts; admins without access to a specific feature will not see related recommended actions; and admins without Workspace History access cannot query that data through the Command Center assistant.
Analytics Charts
The charts within the Command Center overview page provide you with insight on Harvey adoption across your workspace.
To export data, select the download button in the lower right corner of each chart.
- Monthly Users Returning Daily: View the share of your monthly active users who return to Harvey on a daily basis.
- Product Usage: View the percentage of users using each Harvey product, such as Assistant, Word, Outlook, and Review tables.
- Total Active Users: View how many users were active over a set period of time. Use the grouping selector (for example, Weekly) and the range selector (for example, Past 6 months) to change how activity is bucketed and the period you're viewing.
- Top Power Users: View your users by number of active days in Harvey over the selected window (for example, Past month).
Tip: For additional insights, select View all analytics to open the full Analytics page in Command Center.
Peer Benchmarking

The Monthly users returning daily and Product usage charts include peer benchmarking, an anonymized comparison of your workspace against similar firms and organizations. Each chart shows your peer group and compares your numbers to the top quartile (75th percentile) of that group.
Peer benchmarking uses only aggregated, anonymized usage data, such as query volumes and visitation metrics. It never uses customer data or content, like query text or file content.
Harvey assigns your workspace’s peer group based on factors like firm size, geography, and practice focus. You can't switch to a different peer group.
- To see your peer group: Hover over the Peers toggle at the top of the Overview page or the Top peers tag on a benchmarking chart. The tooltip shows the group used for your comparison.
- To hide peer data from your view: Turn off the Peers toggle in the top right of the chart.
- To stop contributing your workspace's data to peer benchmarks: Contact your account team or submit a ticket. Opting out is reciprocal: if you stop contributing, you'll also lose the ability to see how you compare to your peers.
Note: A peer benchmark won't appear on every chart or date range. If one is missing, your peer group may not yet be large enough, or peer data may not be available for the period you've selected.
Recommended Actions

The Recommended actions panel is a checklist that displays settings to configure, settings you've already configured, and newly released features to enable. New items appear as Harvey releases features.
Recommended actions are grouped into categories:
- New releases
- Configurations
- Users & permissions
To complete a recommended action:
- Select a category on the left of the Recommended actions panel.
- Select an item and review its description.
- Select the item's action button (for example, Configure, Manage, or Open sharing) to set it up or manage it without leaving the Command Center Overview page.
Ask Harvey Assistant

The Ask Harvey panel on the right side of the Command Center overview page answers natural-language questions about your workspace usage, helping you to understand adoption metrics across your organization. It includes example prompts for you to use as a starting point when querying, such as:
- Generate a presentation on feature usage
- Identify power users and users at risk
- Compare usage across groups
- Analyze usage in IP
- Help me understand ROI
To use the Ask Harvey assistant:
- Type a question or request into the prompt window or select an example prompt.
- Run your query.
- Harvey will generate a response, along with a presentation or report when appropriate.
- Select the Export button to share results directly with your team or leadership.
To revisit an earlier question, select View history at the top of the assistant panel. You can also favorite prior threads to pin them to the top of your History view, making them easier to find and rerun.
Tip: Give the assistant a clear, inclusive date range in your question (for example, "from May 1 to June 30"). If a question times out, try narrowing the date range or simplifying it.
What the Ask Harvey assistant can access:
- Workspace usage data
- User profile information
- Workspace query history (access to this data can be enabled or disabled by the same permission that gates the Workspace History page)
For legal research, drafting, or document review, use the main Harvey Assistant instead.
Tips for Success
- Use the Top Power Users chart to find Harvey champions, and cross-reference low-adoption areas from Product Usage to target training where it's needed most.
- Pull a peer benchmark before budget or leadership meetings to frame where you stand relative to similar organizations.
- Ask the assistant to generate a presentation when you need a leadership-ready summary rather than a one-off number.
