Last updated: Sep 9, 2026

Overview

You can generate interactive charts, timelines, and more, directly in Harvey. When prompted, Harvey will turn unstructured inputs (such as filings, case files, or regulatory materials) into an interactive visual you can explore, present, and share.

Visuals are generated directly in your thread and can be downloaded as an .html file, which you can open locally in a browser and send to colleagues and clients.

Requirements

You need two permissions to create interactive visuals in Harvey:

  • Permission to access Claude-enabled features in your workspace
  • Permission to create and edit files

If Harvey does not generate a visual as expected, check with your workspace administrator to verify you have these permissions.

Create and Share an Interactive Visual

Generate an Interactive Visual

  1. In Harvey’s sidebar, go to Assistant.
  2. Select Files and add the documents or data you want to visualize.
  3. Ask Harvey to build the interactive output you need, such as a chart, timeline, or dashboard.
    1. Be specific about the format and the fields or relationships you want reflected. The more detail you provide, the closer the result matches what you need.
  4. Review the generated visual in your thread. Explore, filter, or click through it as needed.

Example Prompts

  • "Build an interactive timeline of the key events in this filing."
  • "Create an entity structure chart showing the relationship between the corporate entities in this acquisition, before and after closing."
  • "Turn this case file into an interactive chart connecting the witnesses, entities, and key events."
