Overview

Assistant Threads can be shared seamlessly with other professionals in your workspace. Sharing is limited to members of the same workspace, meaning only users within your organization can access shared items.

By default, all threads are private. Users must explicitly grant access to a thread before it is available to other users.

Granting Access

Note: Sharing options may vary based on workspace settings. If the Share button isn’t visible, please contact your Harvey workspace admin for assistance.

After you run your initial Assistant query, you will see an option to Share your results in the top right corner. Threads can be shared with users that have access to Assistant in two different ways:

  1. Sharing with individual users.
  2. Sharing with anyone in the workspace via a link.

Sharing with individual user(s)

  1. Enter the email address(es) in the text field.
  2. Currently, users can only view which allows them to view and copy queries and files.
  3. Click Grant permission.
Click the share button in the top right corner and enter individual email addresses of the colleagues you wish to share with.
  1. From the dropdown, select Anyone at [company] with the link.
  2. Currently, users can only view which allows them to view and copy queries and files.
  3. Click Copy link and share the link in any form you prefer.
Click the share button in the top right corner and copy the 'anyone at workspace' link.

Removing Access

You can revoke access at anytime by navigating back to the query and clicking on Share in the top right corner. Open the dropdown menu next to the user or link you want to revoke and select Remove.

Click the share button in the top right corner and select Remove.

Viewing Shared Threads

With shared access, users can view all queries, responses, and uploaded files. However, they cannot add follow-ups, make changes, or share the thread.

Users can find threads shared with them in the Shared with you section at the bottom of the Assistant page.

You will see a 'shared with you' tab in Assistant once threads have been shared with you.
