Nudges

Overview

Nudges are suggestions that Harvey makes in a thread when a file, source, connector, or custom agent could help with your request. Harvey describes what it suggests, and you choose whether to use it.

Nudges are designed to ground Harvey’s work in the right material when Harvey needs to clarify your request or get some additional information.

Types of Nudges

Depending on your request, Harvey may suggest the following:

• File uploads: Harvey suggests uploading documents or source files when doing so would strengthen Harvey’s outputs or response.
• Web search: Harvey suggests Web Search when your request needs current or external information.
• Knowledge sources: Harvey suggests referencing or adding a relevant knowledge source based on your request.
• Connectors: When your request needs an external source, Harvey suggests the relevant connector and prompts you to connect it if you haven’t already.
• Custom agents: Harvey suggests running a custom agent when your request matches what the agent is built to do.

Custom Agent Nudges

When you describe a task in a thread, Harvey can recognize when one of your available custom agents is built for that task and suggest routing your request to it. If more than one agent could apply, Harvey lists the matching agents and asks which one to run.

Harvey suggests custom agents that have been approved and shared with you, including agents you built yourself. Suggestions follow your existing sharing permissions and don’t give you access to additional agents.
