What's New

Harvey can now identify and reach the right sources for a request, helping you ground your work in the right materials without manually attaching documents or selecting sources.

The Harvey agent suggesting multiple agents in a nudge

Depending on the task, Harvey can now route to vaults, review tables, knowledge sources, connectors, and custom agents, with a confirmation nudge before proceeding. Additionally, Harvey can now produce multiple outputs from a single request.

Source Routing and Nudges

When working with Harvey, you’ll now see suggested sources that fit your request, reducing the need to find and attach materials yourself.

  • Knowledge Source suggestions: Harvey can suggest a relevant Knowledge Source from those available to you, including jurisdiction-specific Knowledge Sources.
  • Connector suggestions: When a task calls for content stored in another tool, Harvey can suggest the relevant connector and prompt you to sign in if you haven't connected your account yet.
  • Custom agent suggestions: When your request matches a custom agent available to you, Harvey suggests running it. For details, refer to Custom Agent Nudges.
  • Vault suggestions: Harvey can find relevant Vaults and documents for your request. For details, refer to Agentic Vault Search.

Outputs

  • Multiple outputs per request: Ask for several deliverables at once, such as a summary memo and an issues list, and Harvey returns them in a single response.
  • Review table creation: Harvey can build a review table from a set of documents as part of your request. To edit an existing review table with plain-language instructions, refer to Review Table Agent Actions.

Vault Organization

Harvey can save files to a new or existing Vault, create folders, move and rename files, and flag duplicate files for your review. For details, refer to Agentic Vault File Organization.

Why It Matters

Starting legal work in Harvey often meant finding the right documents, attaching them, choosing a Knowledge Source, and then repeating the request for each deliverable. These updates cut down on that setup: you describe the assignment once, confirm the sources Harvey suggests, and get your deliverables back together. This means you spend less time gathering materials and re-prompting, and more time reviewing and refining the work itself. Suggestions can also point you to Knowledge Sources, connectors, and custom agents you may not have known were available, which can help ground your work in more relevant materials.

How to Use

Start a new Harvey thread and describe your request. When Harvey suggests a source, connector, or custom agent, review the suggestion and confirm it to continue. If a suggestion isn't what you need, reply in the thread with different instructions.

FAQs

Q: What if a custom agent and a Knowledge Source both fit my request?

Harvey suggests the custom agent first. If that agent doesn't already include the relevant Knowledge Source, Harvey then suggests the Knowledge Source as well.

Q: If I add sources myself, will Harvey still suggest others?

When you add a Knowledge Source and a custom agent yourself, Harvey uses the ones you selected.

Q: Why don't I see a suggestion for a connector my team uses?

Harvey can only suggest connectors that your workspace admin has enabled and made available to you. If you need access to a connector, contact your workspace admin.
