What’s New

The Command Center is the new home for all existing workspace administration settings in Harvey. It also includes the Command Center Overview, a new analytics and intelligence page where workspace admins can view key metrics such as adoption and peer benchmarking, and ask questions about their workspace's usage and data. This makes it easy to generate charts, practice group breakdowns, and exports for leadership presentations

Key features of the Overview:

  • Analytics: Key analytics charts, such as product usage by service area, and total active users.
  • Command Center assistant: A conversational analytics assistant that answers questions about your usage and workspace history, allowing admins and other users they authorize to generate charts and export artifacts (PowerPoint presentations, Excel files, or PDFs).
  • Peer benchmarking: Metrics based on your organization’s usage data, shown alongside aggregated and anonymized benchmarks for your peer group.
  • Recommended actions: A list of configurations and recently released features your workspace has not yet enabled, with completion status and links to take action.

Why It Matters

The Command Center Overview provides admins with a comprehensive view of how your organization uses Harvey, bringing adoption metrics, peer comparisons, and ad hoc usage questions together in one place.

This page makes it easier for you to see where adoption is lagging, observe where your organization stands relative to similarly situated organizations, view recommendations to improve Harvey adoptions, and produce leadership-ready charts and exports without building them manually.

FAQs

Q: Will all users see the Command Center in their Harvey accounts?
No, a user will not be able to view the Command Center unless a workspace admin has granted access to that user.

Q: How often does the Command Center overview page data refresh?
Every six hours. The Last updated timestamp in the page header shows when the data was last refreshed.

Q: Can admins share access to the Command Center overview with other users?

Yes. Admins can adjust the roles associated with the Use commend center overview permission in order to expand access.

Before expanding the audience, please consider which users in your organization are authorized to access the usage metrics and user query history available using this page.

Q: Can my organization opt out of peer benchmarking?
Yes, you can opt out of contributing your data to peer benchmarks. Please note that if you opt out of contributing, you will not be able to view peer benchmark data. To opt out, contact your account team or submit a ticket.

Q: How else can my organization configure the Command Center Overview?
Existing permissions continue to control what each admin can see and do. For example, admins without the View analytics dashboard permission will not see analytics charts in the Command Center overview; admins without access to a specific feature will not see related recommended actions; and admins without the View workspace history permission cannot query that data through the Command Center assistant.

Q: Can I see usage broken down by practice group or job title?
Yes, you can view this breakdown wherever your workspace has group or practice-area data configured (for example, through SCIM to pull org structure from your identity provider). If your workspace isn't set up for this, your Harvey Customer Success Manager can help you find the right approach.

Q: Will Command Center change our existing analytics API or BI dashboards?
No. This doesn't change the analytics API, so any existing usage-data pipelines into your own BI tools continue to work as before.

Q: How can our Admins use Command Center in compliance with data privacy regulations?

Depending on where your employees are located, you should consider informing them that workspace administrators may have access to certain metrics and data. This information could, for example, be included in your employee privacy notice.
