What's Coming

Harvey will automatically identify and reach the right sources for a request, helping lawyers get work grounded in the right materials without manually attaching documents or selecting sources themselves. Depending on the task, Harvey will be able to route to Vaults, review tables, Knowledge Sources, connectors, and custom agents, with a confirmation nudge before proceeding.

Agents will also be able to produce multiple outputs from a single request. For example, a lawyer could ask for both a summary memo and an issues list and receive both in one turn.

Feature Highlights

  • Intelligent source selection: Harvey will identify the right source for a request and ask the user to confirm the selection, reducing the need to find and attach materials manually.
  • Multiple outputs per run: Agents will be able to create multiple artifacts from a single request, such as a summary memo and an issues list.
  • Vault management: Vault management covers agentic file organization, client matter scoping, and bulk document operations. Agents will be able to create Vaults, save generated files to Vaults, and remove files from Vaults; create folders and move files and folders between them; rename files and folders to a consistent format; detect and flag duplicate files for review; summarize folder contents in plain language; and organize documents in bulk. Vault queries will also support client matter scoping.
  • Review tables: Agents will be able to build structured review tables from a set of documents.
  • Custom agent routing: When a request matches a purpose-built custom agent, Harvey will suggest routing the request to it.
  • Connector routing: When a task requires an external source, Harvey will surface the relevant connector and prompt the user to authenticate when needed.
  • Knowledge Source routing: Harvey will automatically suggest a relevant Knowledge Source based on the query.
Agent Nudges

Here is the breakdown of the features for these updates.

At the end of September, these will be enabled all together.

FAQ

Q: Will I need to attach documents or select a source before submitting a request?

Not necessarily. Harvey will identify the source best suited to the request and prompt you to confirm the selection before proceeding.

Q: What sources will Harvey be able to route to?

Depending on the request, Harvey will be able to route to Vaults, review tables, Knowledge Sources, connectors, and custom agents.

Q: Can an agent create more than one output at a time?

Yes. Agents will be able to produce multiple artifacts in a single turn. For example, you could request a summary memo and an issues list together rather than submitting separate requests.

Q: What will agents be able to do in Vault?

Agents will be able to create Vaults, save generated artifacts, rename and move files and folders, and organize documents in bulk. Vault queries will also support client matter scoping.

Q: What happens if my request requires a connector that I haven't authenticated?

Harvey will surface the relevant connector and prompt you to authenticate it before using that source.
